The 2019 Photo Competition

The Stonehenge Gallery 2019 Photo Competition exhibit will run July 8–31. The opening reception/award ceremony is Thursday, July 11, beginning at 5:30 p.m.  

 

Open Call to Photographers — Juried Competition/Exhibit

This is a juried competition to select 50 photographs for display at Stonehenge Gallery, Montgomery, AL, one of the city’s premier art galleries/art frame shops. The gallery has represented visual artists in the South for 40 years.

Submission is open to all photographers (professional and amateur), working in all forms of photography. There is no theme for this exhibit. Let's elevate photography as an art form. Show us your best!

Images previously shown at Stonehenge Gallery are not eligible for the competition.

Awards:   Best in Show - $500
                 Honorable Mention - $250 each (two awards)
                 50 photos selected for the exhibition

The exhibit runs July 8-31, 2019, with an opening reception at Stonehenge Gallery July 11 at 5:30 p.m.
 
Matting and framing is available from Stonehenge Gallery’s Frame Shop. (Note: There is an earlier deadline for images to be framed by Stonehenge. See the "Calendar" tab at the top of this home page for date details.)
 
The jury for Stonehenge Gallery’s 2019 Photo Competition/Exhibit is comprised of four Montgomery, AL based photographers with multiple exhibits and gallery presentations to their credit, and more than 90 years of combined experience with the medium.
